Agency Summary: The Miami County Recovery Council
provides assistance to any resident of Miami, Shelby
or Darke County who suffers from an alcohol or drug
related problem. We offer treatment services to the
individual with a problem, care for the family members
or significant others, and prevention programs to
provide education concerning the effects of chemical
dependency. Since inception, the Council has been
successful in carrying out its mission in a manner truly
beneficial to the members of our communities. We are
here to provide services to those in need, and to make
certain the quality of care is beyond exception. To
that end, we have a staff that is knowledgeable
concerning addiction issues. More importantly,
they realize we are dealing with individuals with
a human condition. We treat those who turn to
us for assistance with dignity and respect. Our
goal is to help them focus on changes in lifestyle
that will make them healthier, happier, and
more responsible. Our employees work
together to see that the needs of our
clients are met in caring, responsible manner.
